Mario Santander

Mario Santander Oliván is currently researcher at the Center for East Asian Studies of the Autonomous University of Madrid. He is Doctor in Translation by the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), approved in Spain by the Autonomous University of Madrid, and accredited by ANECA as an assistant professor. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience in Taiwan and Spain. He is also a sworn translator for the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He resided in Taiwan for 13 years (August 2009-July 2022), during which time he worked as an instructor at National Taiwan University, National Chengchi University and National Taiwan Normal University. His line of research covers teaching Spanish to Chinese speakers, teaching Chinese to Spanish speakers and Chinese-Spanish translation.
